Among other things, cookies are used to save personal settings on the website. Cookies are also used to collect visitor statistics and analyse what needs to be changed on the website.

IP addresses and cookie ID may be personal data and you therefore have the right to know how we use the data, as well how you can restrict its usage.

About cookies

Cookies are used by all websites and may be necessary in order for the website to function optimally. This makes it possible to follow which pages are visited and allows you to save personal settings for the website.

There are different types of cookies and rundkantig.se uses four of these.

The session cookie is stored temporarily in the computer’s memory while a visitor is on the website.  The cookie disappears when you close the web browser.

A permanent cookie remains on your computer until it is deleted.

The first-party cookie comes from the current website (rundkantig.se) and place cookies in the visitor’s web browser.

A third-party cookie comes from another website and places cookies in the visitor’s browser. You may set your web browser so that it only blocks cookies from third parties.

Visitor statistics

In order to understand how the website is being used and to provide support for our improvement efforts, we collect statistics about each visit through the Google Analytics statistics tool. The data includes information about the cookie ID, IP address, web browser, and which pages are visited, which is stored for 26 months.

More specifically, we use cookies to determine whether or not you are a return visitor. We save the unique number that the cookie in your web browser is allocated (cookie ID). The IP address is used to identify the geographic residence of our visitors.

If you do not accept cookies

You may make changes in your web browser’s security settings so that you either do not receive any cookies at all or you receive a query every time a website attempts to place a cookie on your computer.

In the web browser you may also erase cookies that were stored earlier; see the web browser’s help pages for more information.
